Summary (English)
In October 2000 a series of archaeological soundings were undertaken in the area allotted to the construction of the Cimitero Comunale. The excavation revealed a cistern in a nearly square form (3.10 × 3.64 meters), carried out in opus caementicium (local limestone and mortar) with surface in bricks, datable between the late Republican and first Imperial ages.
A small canal built of rock and tiles, serve to collect and contain the down-flow of the water from the summit of the hill.
