During this season excavations continued in the ancient Etruscan settlement on the plateau of Rocca di Parlascio. Students and scholars from several Italian universities, school pupils, and volunteers from the Gruppo Archeologico Le Rocche di Casciana took part in the campaign. Work continued on the excavation of a substantial sediment, rectangular in plan, revealing several posts. At the same time, an imposing underground cylindrical structure similar to a well and 2 m in diameter was explored. To date this structure has been excavated to a depth of about 6 m.
