The 2000 campaign focused on the location “Grind 1”. The purpose was getting more information on the setting of the dwellings in the two occupation levels, both destroyed by a fire. We intended to get more information regarding the town planning and the material of the streets in the south-western area of Church no. 2, and the relationship with the precincts of the Oraşul de Floci. We excavated partially six dwellings (two dating to the 15th century and four to the 16 – 17th centuries), a smithy from the 15th century and more homestead annexes. All the archaeological material gathered in this campaign is under the process of restoration and examination.
