Due to the excavations conducted in July 2003, within the hilltop fortified settlement of Siliştea -“Pe Cetăţuie” we are able to recognize the level of the chronological relation between the Costişa and Monteoru cultures. At the same time we studied the dwelling from cassettes and the north end of the trench S1. Furthermore, as a consequence of the presence of the sherds or vases unearthed beneath the grindstone level, we can maintain the existence of a foundation ritual involving prehistorical beliefs.
