The archaeological research carried out in Alba Iulia (Apulum II), on Brânduşei Street (Lalelelor, Ioan Buda Viorel’s property) revealed in this sector the existence of some sporadic deposits belonging to a Roman settlement situated around the Roman castrum (canabae). The excavations conducted (three sections, for stratigraphical checks) uncovered some traces of a close building foundation and some pits. We also found a channel with unknown destination.
