The former Bordeşti Monastery is a monastic complex that developed from the 17th century to the beginning of 20th century. The archaeological investigations conducted in 1998, 1999, and 2000 were followed by a campaign of investigations in 2004. All these campaigns served the purpose to draw a conclusion about the planimetry of the buildings, which are in the precincts of the former monastery, the construction phases and the relative and absolute chronology of the monastic complex.
