Summary (English)
During the second campaign of archaeological researches in the cemetery at Cârlomăneşti – La arman, we discovered other two skeleton graves – G.16 and 17. Both tombs had a stone, limestone and burned adobe filling, and were dug in the sterile soil. For each tomb the filling had been carefully arranged in the pits as is proved by the vessels discovered on the bottom. For the first grave – G.16 – the skeleton was fully destroyed so the exact position and orientation could not be registered. In the G. 17 the skeleton was found on the bottom lying apparently flexed on the left side, but the upper part of the body was disposed on the belly. The grave goods include in G.16 two cups, each with an M.Ic1 style decoration and an undecorated cup, and in G. 17 a two handled cup with a MIc2 style decoration and some beads from a necklace. After two campaigns in the cemetery at Cârlomăneşti – La arman we discovered 17 mortuary features which could be dated to the interval corresponding to the so-called M.Ic2-M.Ib phases of the Monteoru culture.
