Summary (English)
The purpose of the archaeological research at Ciocadia Codrişoare was the identification of some elements which can determine the destination of the site. The archaeological material consists of some bronze fragments, pottery (building materials and sherds made either by hand or by wheel). It seems that at Ciocadia Codrişoare there was a military observation post which oversaw the Roman road following the Sub-Carpathian hills and reaching the road running along the Olt River. The archaeological material at Ciocadia Codrişoare dates this site between the 1st -2nd centuries AD.
