Summary (English)
In this short report, the authors present the results of the 2004 archaeological campaign at Feteşti “La Schit”. The Late Middle Ages level was disturbed in the G1-3 areas, but in the G3-4 we discovered an aboveground dwelling from that period, identified the previous year in the 6th trench. Another complex discovered in 2003 and studied during this campaign too was sunken-floored building no. 5 from the second Iron Age. A Horodiştea level aboveground dwelling was uncovered. From the Cucuteni A level we identified: the northern half of pit no. 6 and pit no. 34. The excavations in the north ends of the first and second trenches proved that the first dwelling (Cucuteni B) had a second foundation trench, that marks the north-west wall. Two parts of dwellings from the same period were discovered. Dwelling no. 5 was destroyed almost entirely by the electrical underground installations, the church, sunken-floored building nos. 1 and 5, pit no. 33. The portion from dwelling no. 6 had a domestic use. In the areas G 1-3 we discovered three kilns (11-13), one cereals box and a grinding stone. Two domestic pits from the Cucuteni B period were excavated: 16 and 33. Several stake pits were discovered in the A1 area, but no certain chronology is possible for the occupation level.
