The 2004 excavations tried to find the private house of the commander of this fort. For this purpose a 75 m long and 2 m wide, east-west oriented trench was excavated in the latus praetorii sinistrum. Instead of the commander’s house we found three north-south oriented, about 10 – 11 m wide barracks. The barracks were built of timber and earth, had only one phase and were destroyed by fire. The archaeological finds are various, such as sling balls, glass cups sherds, spearheads, iron nails and clamps, coarsewares and two bronze coins (one of them from Emperor Domitianus, the other one from Vespasianus).
