Summary (English)
Part of an in situ basalt road surface on the via Latina, at the crossroads with the via Numanzia-Macedonia and via Tabarrini, at 1.20m below the present ground level. The road bed comprises tufa, fragments of brick and marble and some mosaic tesserae. The road was uncovered to a maximum width of 0.60m and a length of 97m, of which 78m of the basalt surface was intact. Of the remaining 19m only the road bed with few basoli in situ survived.
