Summary (English)
On the left of the via Latina, at the crossroads with via Lusitania, structures emerged immediately below the present ground level. These comprised a wall in opus listatum with a plaster facing, orientated on an E-W alignment and part of a wall in opus laterizia, 0.45m wide. The latter, excavated to a depth of 0.66m, was on an E-W alignment and comprised conglomerate of tufa and brick fragments. The bricks were 4.5cm high, with mortar beds of 4-4.5cm. Towards the via delle Mura Latine a wall on a N-S alignment and two walls on an E-W alignment came to light. In the connecting trench between the Porta Latina and via Lusitania two other walls were found. (Francesca Montella)
