Summary (English)
At the present day “Massaria San Rocco” the baths of a villa rustica, situated up against the northern wall of the modern building, were investigated. The calidarium was of most interest, being characterised by the presence of cylindrical suspensurae supporting a white mosaic pavement with a pattern of black squares inserted into a meander motif. The entire structure would seem to date to the 1st century A.D., whilst its abandonment can be placed between the 3rd-4th century A.D.
