Summary (English)
The geophysical survey was carried out at the request of Francesco D’Asaro of S.I.A.C.I. s.r.l.. in association with the Soprintendenza Archeologica per il Lazio, and the landowner, who wished to undertake advanced methodologies for investigating the archaeological potential of the site. It was undertaken by a joint team from the Archaeological Prospection Services of Southampton (APSS) and the British School at Rome.
The western portion of the site seems to show the presence of virtually no archaeological features; only evidence of recent agricultural practice.
In contrast, the north eastern section of the survey area is concentrated with archaeological features. The large building complex in the far north east corner represents a clear plan of the walls, revealing the layout of a potential villa.
