Summary (English)
The excavation of the year 2003 in the thesaurus of Phoinike, aimed to rewrite accurately the original typology of the structure and the changes that occurred during the latter periods. Thus the excavation was located in front of the cella / naos and discovered fragmentary bricks and walls traces that clarified the transformation process of the temple into a baptistery.
Several graves that date to the period of the abandonment of the temple were also discovered. The restoration work of this year intended to clear up the covering material of the stone slabs. The removed blocks were placed in their original position. At the end the whole structure was covered with sheltering lamina, following the wall direction.
