This season aimed to finalize the building plan by carrying out an excavation in the northern side, at the point where due to inclination the structure is deteriorated. The excavation was difficult because of a huge hole opened during a sondage undertaken by an Albanian-soviet team in the years 1958-1960. A sondage carried out in the trenches B15-16, revealed the north-eastern corner of the building. The signs of destructions are visible in the lower wall, confirming in this way that the construction of the wall 142 destroyed the wall (180) of the earlier phase. During this excavation was found a Doric column, which confirms that the mosaic building might have been constructed on the remains of a previous Doric temple. The second sondage was undertaken in the trench B14 proving the continuation of the wall in the north side of the building. There survived only some stone remains from the foundation level, cut of in pieces due to the inclination of the terrain. The sondage carried out in the trenches A-B12, aimed at finding the north-western corner of the building, was not concluded during this season. However, it revealed two limestone blocks which might be part of the foundation. The finds consist of several stone and bricks tesserae which belong to the building floor. It is obvious that the revealed blocks belong to the outer wall of the building, however to have a more accurate conclusion, it is necessary to conclude the excavations in this trenches.
