Summary (English)
The archaeological excavation of this year were undertaken in the area close by the acropolis of the ancient city of Apolonia and discovered the remains of a quadrangle building (trench L2/60). The northern corner of the building was revealed initially, built with badly worked sandy blocks of stones, which is thought to be part of the foundation wall. In order to identify the diagonal corner and therefore the buildings dimensions, on the south-eastern part of the first trench was opened another one (K2/62), without success as the structures revealed were badly damaged. The excavations on the western side of the building revealed the interruption of the foundation wall by the entrenchment of the big road of the city. Based on the material found during the excavation the building dates to the archaic period. The excavations on the western side of the foundation walls revealed two other walls. The corners of these two latter walls correspond to the extremities of the second stenopos of the orthogonal system of the city.
