Summary (English)
ARCHAEOLOGICAL EXPLORATIONS NEAR THE VILLAGE OF STROINO (Stefan Bakardzhiev – st_bakarjiev@abv.bg) The settlement covered an area of c. 26 ha. The explorations of the building consisting of parallel rooms arranged in a line, constructed in rubble masonry and 21.80 m long continued. The five rooms discovered so far belonged to the southern wing of the building and its yard. The finds included a fragment of a bone distaff decorated with a figurine of a dog, coins of Septimius Severus, Caracalla and Tranquilina, sherds. The building was constructed during the second half of the 3 century AD over a leveled layer of debris and objects of the 2nd – first half of the 3 centuries AD.
