Summary (English)
ARCHAEOLOGICAL EXCAVATIONS NEAR THE VILLAGE OF KRUMOVO GRADISHTE (Daniela Agre – daniela.agre@abv.bg) The southern half of the tumulus and part of its northern half were explored in 2005. Its stratigraphy was clarified. The tumulus consists of two small mounds, unified in the tumular embankment by a third mound. No central primary grave was found in the tumulus. The tumulus was used as necropolis some time after it was piled. Eight graves from the second half of the 2nd century AD were explored. The northeastern sector of the tumulus was explored in 2006. No archaeological material was discovered.
