Summary (English)
The excavations in the ancient city of Bylis led by the Albanian-French team were carried out for a short period from May 14 – 27, 2013. The purpose of this year’s excavations, given the limited time available, was only to carry out some excavations at the monument of Terentianus. The excavations focused on the trenches started in previous years and on some clearings. As a result of these excavations, it was possible to better clarify the walls of the rooms, which belong to different phases, and the discovery of the northern part of the wall of the house in square 26 was also completed.
As in the excavation campaigns of the previous years, the main finds were sherds, where fragments of rim, wall and lid of a pithos as well as an amphora can be distinguished., loom weights, etc. were also found Spindles. Regarding the metal finds, the main place is occupied by nails, a spoon, a knife and some coins.
In addition to these findings, there are two partially preserved dedication inscriptions in Greek.
