Summary (English)

  • AQUAE CALIDAE (Milen Nikolov – m_kotlenski@abv.bg) A pile of stones, 3 m long and 80 cm high, was discovered in the western part of the fortress. It was situated over a layer containing sherds of Late Antiquity, the Middle Ages and the 19th – 20th centuries. A wall 70 cm wide was discovered at 10 m to the west, constructed of uneven stones bonded with mortar. Judging from the pottery, it dated to the 18th – 19th centuries.
