Summary (English)
During this campaign at the so-called sanctuary of Eshmun/Asclepius at Nora, the University of Padova, as part of the project to restore and enhance the building, concentrated its activities on the area of the Roman temple’s pronaos. Once the patchy remains of the cement paving that formed the mid-imperial floor level were removed a series of floor make-ups were intercepted. The latter were made up of whitish lime and cobble structures bonded with clay, interpretable as masonry footings for pisè walls, which certainly related to the occupation of the sacred area pre-dating the restructuring of the 3rd century A.D..
