Summary (English)
At No.16 Via Bottai work was undertaken to reclaim a cellar. A tank, circa 60cm deep was found built into the floor. Originally, it was probably divided in two sections, one rectangular, the other semi-circular. The material filling the tank contained fragments of 18th century ceramics. The walls of the tank had a good plaster facing and this suggests that it was used to contain liquids. (Catrin Marzoli)
