Summary (English)
ANCHIALOS (Krasimira Kostova – kr.kostova@mail.bg) The site was situated in the area of the necropolis of the Roman period. A mediaeval kiln for building ceramics was discovered. It was 2.93 m by 4 m in size, dug into the bedrock. Fragments from roof-tiles and slag were found in a midden pit in front of the kiln. A bottom of a glazed bowl of the 12th – 13th century was also found. According to the archaeomagnetic analysis, the kiln dated to AD 1111 – 1290.
