Summary (English)
The second excavation campaign has concluded investigations at San Lorenzo di Sebato, on the road from Bressanone, just before the Peinter bridge. The protostoric remains brought to light in 2002 have been fully examined. Early Iron Age dwellings, comprising dry-stone walls, post-holes and burnt levels were revealed below the northern limit of the Roman settlement. The floor levels produced abundant pottery and daub. In the western sector of the excavation the rubble from a collapse has been removed, revealing the remains of other huts, some with hearths.
