Summary (English)
ARCHAEOLOGICAL EXPLORATIONS IN PAVLIKENI (Evgeni Dermendzhiev – e_dermendgiev@abv.bg) During construction works in the northern outskirts of Pavlikeni, several stone slabs and bricks of the Roman period were discovered at 1.40 m in dept. Two parallel walls situated 45 cm from each other were documented. They were built of bricks and were covered with horizontally placed roughly-cut stone slabs. The discovered length of the structure was 1 m and it was oriented northwest – southeast. It was probably a tomb of the Roman period.
