Summary (English)
EXPLORATIONS NEAR THE VILLAGE OF MIRKOVO (Krastyu Chukalev – chukalev@naim.bg, Zhivko Uzunov, Yana Dimitrova) The site was located in the watershed of two rivers and covered an area of 1.88 ha. Sherds and fragmentary wattle-and-daub were found. The sherds from Thracian monochrome grey pottery included the bottom of a vessel, parts of a krater and a jug. Judging from the pottery, the site dated to the second half of the 1st millennium BC. Probably, it was a settlement consisting of buildings located along both rivers.
