Summary (English)
At San Vito, in the interior of the Bradano valley, two rooms of Imperial date have been excavated. Situated on the lower part of a gentle slope, they had been destroyed by a violent fire. Survey of the area revealed the presence of a large rural complex, probably a villa rustica. An architectural sima moulding with a lion’s head spout, which probably came from this complex, was picked up. It is of a type that is very similar to those found on roofs in the urban sanctuary.
