Summary (English)
In November 1998 during the construction of a sewer a structure came to light comprising large blocks of perperino and red tufa bonded by clayey soil. Conserved to a height of 0.45m and circa 0.50m wide, it was on a E-W alignment and was traced for a length of 1.40m. In the immediate vicinity, slightly to the south, a series of tufa blocks probably belonging to this wall were found in secondary deposit. This structure, which is probably ancient, had no characteristics which could provide a basis for dating. (Stefano Musco, L. De Michelis, E. Brienza – Cooperativa Archeologica Parsifal)
