Summary (English)
UNDERWATER ARCHAEOLOGICAL EXPLORATIONS AT CARIA (Nayden Prahov – naydenprahov@yahoo.com, Asen Salkin) Underwater explorations were carried out in the area of Cape Shabla. During the 1990s and the early 2000s, two inhumation burials from the Chalcolithic period were discovered in front of the Shablenska Tuzla Swamp. The body in one of the graves was laid in a fetal position. One or two shipwrecks of the Late Ottoman period were discovered in the same area. Aerial drone footage was filmed in the area of Karon Limen. On the basis of the orthophotos, a digital surface model and a high-resolution photomosaic were produced by means of photogrammetric analysis.
