The site of Dealul Domnii was discovered after an earth sliding in 1997 and was excavated during an archaeological rescue campaign in 1997 and another systematic one in 2000. The site has a single occupation level, which proved to be an important workshop and a ritual deposit of animal sacrifices. The archaeological complexes researched so far are: seven pits that were ritually purified with rich pottery previously burned, six ritual settings, probably in open air and a funerary pile. The research will be continued in the next campaigns, in order to clarify the Dacian ritual behavior in the 2nd - 1st centuries B.C., found on Dealul Domnii.
