In 2003 the archaeological researches were continued in the location "Castravita", Desa town, Dolj county. The excavations started in the tumulus which had a complex structure. This is made up of two earth layers and between them we found, on the exterior edges, a mantle formed of limestone. The archaeological materials and the four levels of river stones were not placed on the ancient ground.
