The 2004 campaign focused on the maintenance and primary preservation works. Also, in the second part of the campaign, marking and registering the archaeological material from the deposit represented a priority. In the extra muros sector, we excavated a new trench, S6, in order to elucidate the situation of the Early Middle Ages wall discovered in the 2003 campaign. The wall was partially dismantled by a later floor. The floor is formed of yellow clay, identifiable at –1.12 m, broken by two pits for residuary waste. Further research will clarify this situation. Among the artifacts uncovered it is worth mentioning a lamp that bore on the bottom the letter K, and a vessel sherd that had on the shoulder the graffito IOY.
