During the 2004 campaign, the archaeological researches at the Germisara Roman Military camp (castrum) was focused on the continuation of the excavations in order to delimit the corner tower of the military camp in the north-eastern side as well as to uncover the supposed gate tower in the north part. At the same time, the extension of the excavations, east of principia, was considered.
