During the campaign of 2006 the archaeological research from the Germisara Roman military camp (castrum) was focused on the continuation of the diggings in order to delimit the corner tower of the military camp in the north-eastern side as well as to uncover the supposed gate tower from the northern side. At the same time, the extension of the digging, east of Principia, was considered.
