During the restructuring of the building housing the Banca Antonio Capasso S.p.A, situated within the urban context of Allifae, a section of paving from the forum of the Roman colony came to light. In part already known, it emerged in a good state of preservation at 2.45 m below the level of the present buildings. It was constituted by large rectangular limestone slabs that fitted together perfectly. This confirms the fact that the forum occupied the central sector of the city, at the crossroads where the decumanus maximus and the cardo maximus met.
