The excavations undertaken between 2002 and 2004 revealed the existence of an in situ deposit of great interest due to the presence of a large lithic working area belonging to the phase of transition between the late Epigravettian and the Mousterian periods.
The 2004 campaign opened a new trial trench east of the La Greppia site. The lithic working was attested by lamellae and flakes, including hyper-microliths, flaked cores. The utensils were represented by lamellae and retouched flakes and occasional scrapers. The industry appeared typologically homogeneous, but without dating elements.
