Season

    • During construction work on the street and train underpass at Ferentino, several archaeological contexts were discovered. These include rooms walled in opus caementicium, decorated with plaster, paved with mosaics and endowed with basins. A series of dry-stone walls built in roughly faced blocks with chips belong to a single structure. Other tests have detected stone structures in , associated with layers of ceramic and brick and a cement pavement. Fragments of obsidian pertinent to blades and debris from manufacture, and fragments of impasto, have been traced back to the middle Neolithic period.
