    Chronology

    Season

      • The rescue excavations at the historical center of Râmnicu Vâlcea, Vâlcea county, resulted in the partial discovery of the basement of the first school for boys of the town, built in 1837. The finds include: small plates, quills, inkwells and a particular pottery from the 19th century (the pottery sherds from Vlădeşti and Curtea de Argeş). All these artifacts prove the presence in this area of an interesting occupation level from the Late Modern Age.
