The archaeological excavations had the purpose to research an area of 800 m which is found on the terrace of the Someş River. In this particular area two major groups of archaeological complexes were found. The first of them, called "Ciuncaş" contains four pits from the Aeneolithic Period, three pits from The Bronze Age and eleven complexes from the Roman period. The second group called "Togul lui Schweitzer", situated to the east of the first archaeological complexes group contains a dense Neolithic Age occupation level (dwellings and pits), the traces of some occupation from the Bronze Age (Suciu de Sus, Gáva Culture) and the traces of a Roman dwelling.
