Summary (English)
ARCHAEOLOGICAL EXCAVATIONS NEAR THE VILLAGE OF SKOBELEVO (Petar Kalchev – kalchevp@abv.bg) The tumulus was 4 m in height and 32 m in diameter. Three clandestine excavations in the tumular embankment were visible. A pile of stones, fragmentary roof-tiles of the Roman period and pieces of human bones were documented in the clandestine excavation located close to the tumulus’ center. The treasure-hunters had destroyed the burial construction.
