Within the larger Nemea Valley Archaeological Project, intensive urban survey was undertaken at this site for eventual use in the analysis of regional settlement patterns and to observe diachronic change. This reveals
new information that can be added to established understandings of the ancient city-state and the region as a whole.
-What is the distribution of artifact remains in the survey area and was the site fully defined by surface survey?
-What are the regional settlement patterns and how or when did the population levels rise or fall?
-When did the center appear and disappear and the effects on the rural parts?
-What were the political and economic relationship between a town and its countryside?
