- "During the period 15th of July to 14th of August 1973 a shallow water archaeological survey of the sea-bed down to a depth of 6.5 metres took place in the area of Cape Kiti on the southern coast of Cyprus. "The survey was done in cooperation with Gothenburg University's archaeological excavation team on land near the Mosque Hala Sultan Tekke. The aim of the survey was to investigate the sea-bed area from the Salt Lakes to Cape Kiti as a complement to the excavations on land." Engvig and Astrom 1975 p7
