    Other Comments

    • Was there a history of transhumance in the region, and if so, which wadis? What is the evidence for prehistoric settlement in the Southern Ghors and Northest Arabah relative to the level of Lake Lisan? Are the main, known sites in the Southern Ghors, especially at al-Safi, Feifa, and Khuneizir, predominantly Early Bronze Age sites? Is there Middle and Late Bronze occupation in the Southern Ghors and Northeast Arabah? What is the relationship between the so-called 'Edomite' occupation on the plateau to the east and of that in both the Southern Ghors and Northeast Arabah and the area to the west? Are the Nabataean-Roman sites on a north-south route through the Arabah to Aqaba or are they merely east-west routes? Where are biblical and Byzantine Zoar located? Are such sites as al-Safi, Feifa and Qasr al-TIlah the location of Roman Zoara, Praesidium, and Toloah respectively? Where is the Church of Saint Lot of the Madaba Map located? What evidence is there for Islamic presence in the survey territory?
