Summary (English)
The site is located 8 km to the southeast of the town Negotino, at the highway Skopje – Gevgelija. In the Archaeological Map of R. Macedonia it is recorded as a fortified settlement and a necropolis from the Late Antiquity.
As result of the looting on the site, the Museum of Negotino in 2005 undertook a salvage excavation. There were five trenches in which two kilns from the 2nd -3rd century were excavated. A building called “workshop” was also discovered in context with the kilns.
According to the sherds in some of the trenches, the site has strata from the Bronze Age through the Iron Age and the Hellenistic period to the Late Antiquity.
