This season’s aim was to investigate several levels of the final Epigravettian period situated at the entrance to the inner space of the cave, levels which integrate knowledge of the long stratigraphic sequence and which were situated up against the large boulder with the engraved Bos. Structures, substructures and palaeo-surfaces were exposed and will soon be the subject of taphonomic and palaeo-ethnological analyses. The exploration of the adjacent Riparo Belvedere-Romito also continued, where the excavation of a funerary structure with secondary depositions, dating to the Bronze Age, was completed.
