Summary (English)
ARCHAEOLOGICAL EXPLORATIONS NEAR SEVLIEVO (Iordan Aleksiev – yordan_aleksiev@abv.bg) The excavations were carried out at the Western Gate of the fortress. In 1989 – 1990, parts of houses were discovered there. Room No. 1 was explored. It had a rectangular layout and adjoined the fortification gate and room No. 2. The wall was constructed with a bonding medium of mud. The explorations of the pavement with slabs in room No. 3 continued. The explorations of a Christian necropolis began and six graves were discovered. During previous excavations in 1992, six graves were explored there.
