Summary (English)
This was UNICAL’s fifth season of excavations on the site of Murge di Santa Caterina. New structures abutting the western fortified curtain wall were uncovered, which related to occupation periods that confirm the phases dated to between the final centuries of the early medieval period and the first decades of the 13th century.
The excavations recovered new types of pottery, metal, glass, and coin finds.
