Part of an in situ basalt road surface in via Latina where it meets the via Macedonia. Situated at 0.60m below the present ground level, it is well preserved, the ruts made by army baggage carts are visible and the kerb on the south side appears intact for a length of 4.70m. (Francesca Montella)
