The site is situated 2 km to the Southeast from the village Stari Grad. It is a hill with a flat top on the right bank of the river Babuna with visible remains of a defensive wall. The excavations in 2005 were done on two different points. The first one is located at the North of the site, on a terrace next to the river. The trench revealed an Eneolithic house of wattle and daub with foundations in the bedrock. The floor was made of beaten earth and there were two large hearths and two storage pits carved in the bedrock. Another hearth, quern and sherds with coarse fabric were found outside the house. Close to this there were remains of two more, older hearths which were disturbed by a medieval grave. To the East of this situation, another Eneolithic facility was discovered. It was partially carved in the bedrock and it had a beaten earth floor. The sherds discovered on the floor are decorated with graphite or red and yellow painting. The second point of excavation was the Southwest of the site where the looters had disturbed a few cist graves. The archaeological excavations revealed a necropolis with cist graves where the deceased were positioned West – East. As a part of the necropolis, there was a cemetery church uncovered. The grave finds and the church remains date the whole complex to the IX – X century.
